We loved this bike while it was working. The Flying Fox is fun to ride, well built, and my family has enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, ownership has become extremely frustrating because of the lack of post-purchase support.
Our bike experienced an axle collar failure that damaged the hub motor wiring. Since then, I've reached out to Voltaic support multiple times over several weeks and have not received a response.
To make matters worse, many of the replacement parts for the Flying Fox—including the hub motor and wheel assembly—have been listed as sold out with no estimated restock dates or communication about future availability.
I'm not asking for a free repair or replacement. I simply want to purchase the parts needed to repair a bike that is otherwise in great condition.
If you're considering buying a Voltaic bike, I would strongly encourage you to research replacement parts availability and customer support before making your purchase. A great product is only part of the ownership experience—being able to maintain and repair it matters just as much.
If Voltaic responds and provides a path to repair the bike, I'll gladly update this review.
My tube came in and was popped the first day didnt even get to ride on the tube
