IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION
This is the current X1S controller and battery-mount assembly. The controller is built into the battery mount rather than being a separate loose controller elsewhere on the bike.
The word “Upgraded” in the product name identifies the newer/current X1S electrical generation. This is an OEM replacement controller assembly — it is not an aftermarket performance controller or speed upgrade.
OLD X1 / EARLY X1S
This controller is not an individual replacement for an older X1 or early X1S with the integrated display + throttle system. Those bikes use the legacy 7-pin control generation.
If that older system has failed, use our Macfox X1S (Old Style) Complete Electronics Conversion Kit. That kit converts the matched control electronics together while keeping the original motor and battery.
NOT SURE IF IT'S THE CONTROLLER, DISPLAY, OR HARNESS?
If the problem appears to be in the control system but you haven't isolated whether the controller, display, or main wiring harness is the failed component, we also offer the matched Macfox X1S 3-Piece Control System Bundle.
The bundle replaces the controller, display, and wiring harness together with matched X1S components. Replacing all three can eliminate those three control-system components as variables, but it is not a guaranteed fix for every electrical problem. Battery, motor, throttle, brake-cutoff, and other faults still need to be diagnosed separately.
