Convert the stock rear drum brake on your STACYC 12eDRIVE or 16eDRIVE to a fully hydraulic rear disc brake system.
This H&S brake setup was developed here in the U.S. from our own experience as rider parents, along with feedback from other STACYC families. One of the biggest differences is our custom-made short-reach brake lever, designed specifically for little hands. The product photos show the reach difference between our lever and a standard brake lever.
Because the hydraulic system moves fluid instead of pulling a mechanical brake cable, the lever is easier for small hands to operate. It provides a lighter pull and smoother control, making it easier for younger riders to slow and stop the bike.
Choose the correct 12eDRIVE or 16eDRIVE option when ordering. Standard two-piston brakes are available in multiple colors, with a black four-piston brake available as an upgraded option.
