Adapter only, battery not included. Running an aftermarket battery bypasses the safety features in stock batteries. While our testing has not shown any issues, there is always a possibility of controller damage/failure. Use any battery adapter at your own risk. VOIDS STACYC warranty on electric components.
OEM Greenworks batteries will brick and not work. Only aftermarket Greenworks batteries are compatible.
40v batteries are heavy and due to gravitational forces, the adapter can break when jumping, crashing, or riding rough terrain. These are meant for cruising only.
So far so good . Assembly went perfect just like stock.... have about 6 or 7 batterys ran through it.. even a few snow days .... no problems at all at this time. Great upgrade to the 18edrive
