IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION
Old X1 / early X1S: These bikes use the older integrated display + throttle system with a 7-pin connection. This legacy electrical generation is no longer supported with individual original control-electronics replacements.
If your X1/X1S has the older integrated display + throttle setup, use our Macfox X1S (Old Style) Complete Electronics Conversion Kit. The conversion replaces the controller, wiring harness, display, throttle, headlight switch, and tail light as a matched system while reusing the existing motor and battery.
Current X1S / X1S x Bs.zay: These bikes use the newer separate display and throttle setup. The current X1S display family uses a 5-pin connection.
X7 / X7L: These models use the current 5-pin display family.
X2 V2.0 / X2 Pro: Macfox currently groups these models with the X7/X7L display option. Select the X7 / X7L / X2 V2.0 / X2 Pro option. Do not use this option for an X2 V1.
M16: Select the dedicated M16 display option. The M16 uses its own display part and should not be matched to another model just because the screens look the same. We do not use an unverified pin count to identify the M16 display.
HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR DISPLAY
If you have an older X1/X1S with the display and throttle built together, you have the older electrical generation. If your X1S has a separate display and separate throttle, it is the current-style system.
The display housings can look very similar across Macfox models, so use the exact model/electrical generation rather than appearance alone.
If you're unsure, send us a photo of the display, the bike's model label, and a straight-on photo of the connector. We'll help match the correct version before you order.
