My kid has been beating on this bike for almost a year and so far the only thing I've replaced is the rear tire, and I've had to re-glue the magnet in the safety key. My kid doesn't ride tracks, but he does jump, mostly to flat landings. The main reason I got it was so he could keep up with me on mountain bike trails. For that this is a great bike. In yellow mode he can get up to 9 miles on single track, and I carry a spare battery in my hydro pack to double our range.
Pros:
Powerful motor with no chain or 90° gearbox to break.
Electronics seem to be good, haven't broken a throttle yet which was an issue with another brand
The fork is a bit stiff for my kid, was 50lbs when he started riding it and is 60lbs now. Would be nice if it was an air fork.
The batteries are high quality and a spare isn't crazy expensive.
Cons:
Heavy, an air fork would remove multiple pounds from this bike.
Not a lot of tire options
I chipped the paint off the rims with a plastic tire spoon.
Kickstand could be higher quality, it's kind of floppy.
A moto style long seat would be better than a bike seat.
