Note: 12EDrive models can only run 2AH batteries. 4/5ah batteries touch the front tire on some bikes due to differences in production. Now compatible with all 20v Stacyc bikes.

Spending 200$ a battery when you have 2 stacycs is not fun. I bought this adapter to use my Milwaukee batteries. Works great and saves me $$$$

Dewalt battery adapter
Purchased the battery adapter as a back up for when we aren't near outlets to charge the stacyc batteries. Fitment on either end of the adapter is perfect. My only issue, and it could have just been mine, was the release to remove it from bike was difficult and easily broke. I just removed the button and the weight of the battery holds it on fine. I thought it I only used dewalt batteries it wouldn't be an issue but I'm not able to remove the dewalt batteries without also removing the adapter. It's still a fantastic idea and I'd tell anyone to get one but concerned someone not mechanically inclined would be able to make it work themselves.
